At Muffles College, our classes are run in terms of cycles. One cycle is equivalent to two weeks. The days in the cycle are numbered as Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 all the way to day 10 which completes the two weeks in the cycle. If a holiday falls on any of the days, then that day is carried forward. Keeping in mind the flip classroom concept for this academic year, we have divided each class alphabetically into two sections. For example, if your child is placed in class 1- 1, then your child will either be in one of the two halves named 1-1 Mercy or 1-1 Bobcats.

During the first week of the cycle, the “Mercy: halves will be required to be at school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and on Tuesday and Thursday of Week 2. while the “Bobcats” half will be required to be at school on Tuesday and Thursday of week 1 and Monday Wednesday and Friday of Week 2. Therefore in a cycle of ten days, your child will be in school 5 days. The other 5 days of the cycle that your child is not in class, he/she will have online Lessons to view and work on at home.

Our Homeroom sessions will now begin at 8:00 am to 8:15am. Our class session have now been reduced to 50 minutes, so our lunch break has also been affected and will now be between 11:15 to 12:05 for 1st and 4th form students and 12:05 to 12:55 for our third and 2nd form students. Since outside contact with school must be limited, we will not accept food to be brought in from outside by parents. Students will have to bring their lunch if they so desire, please note that students dismissal time will be at 2:45p.m. daily.
